Jim from the Tire Rack has a post saying that they are having a closeout on AVS Intermediates 205/55-16 $58, and 245/45-16 are $64. I was planning on replacing my tires with stock SO2's next spring but these are priced at less than half of what the Bridgestones will run me. I'm just wondering if any New England board members have any experience with these tires and have formed any opinions.

 

I think only Ben has the AVS sport...
however, I heard AVS I is a good tire... man, if you wanna order it... I am interesting in order it too....(together) to save some shipping charge!!

 

The AVS Intermediates are being discontinued...they are very good tires.


So ideally, get 2 sets of rear's and 1 set of front's.
I bought mine just couple months before sale...<sigh>
but I might pick up another set of rear's b/c the price is so low.

Btw, Tirerack charges shipping on a per-tire basis - no "save...shipping".
