I just got a 2001 S2000. The first thing to go whenever I get a new car is the weak paper filter air intake. I keep going between the AEM v2 cold air and the comptech Ice box. Which should I get?

 

I personally had the comptech, and I would say to spend the extra money for it. It's a cleaner piece in my opinion, good sound, good power gain.

personally i would go with the aem v2 its proven 10.7 hp on the dyno. its got a really good deep and loud sound.

the comptech is also a good intake but from racing another S with that intake i was pulling on him with just the V1. comptech also isnt as loud as the v2.

 

V2 dont even hesitate. WAY better gains, and wicked sounds. laters. oh yeah, couple that with a hondata gasket. youll cry. LOL. PM me for the mod to the cooling circuit. laters dave
