Very nice, I drove by the dealer a few hours ago on my way to the store and it looked like they had the white S2000 prepaired for someone. Desert Sun is where I got my S2000 back in April.

Well we had some interest in from this forum for our last El Paso autocross event so I am letting you know we have our next event next Sunday: http://www.panamscca.org/

We have an interesting collection of cars at the event including a Ariel Atom, racing Evo, and a new Z06 Corvette.

Sounds good.
One of the regular S2000 drivers also lives in Alamogordo but works in Ruidoso. He drives a yellow '05 and works as a dealer at the Casino/truck stop just West of town. He normaly works during the weekends but he uses his vacation days so he can race.
We also have a Sat/Sun event at the end of Oct. then we will have to wait until Feb to start the new season.

i am officially an S2000 driver

it is an amazing car.. talked them down to $17K because of some small issues.. the soft top makes a bit of wind noise at highway speeds and we found out if you pull it down the noise stops lol. holes in the trunk that were patched for the lip spoiler that was originally on the car. they curbed one of the volks yesterday

other than that, the car is just in great condition. it belonged to a woman and after she was bitten by a brown recluse spider she developed advanced arthritis and could no longer drive the car.

at least that's what they told me....

so yay! can't wait for the next meet.

you need hardtop strikers to fix the windnoise. or just some rubber grommets will work too. PM if you are still interested in the wheel thing, I dont mind curbage I want to refinish them anyway.
