Default Injectors?

Just wanted to see what injectors people are running... I was having a good run with a blue evo on 528 last weekend when I missed third gear at 9 thousand rpm and 19 psi of boost! (girlfriend had a route 44 sonic drink in the cup holder) It ended up taking out the wastegate gasket so the car is down for repairs so I'm thinking about upgrading my injectors. Im currently running 1000cc precision for b-series with some 10 ohm resistors that I wired in series. This setup is working fine however my harness looks like crap and I would have to add a resistor box to clean it up but my injectors are at 80% duty cycle so I was thinking of getting new ones. Anybody on here ever ran injector dynamics? That's what I'm planning on going with but would like to know if they are worth the price!

BTW the evo was stock looking with just exhaust and a cam tuning sticker on the back window if anybody knows who it is (older guy) I'm curious what kind of power he's putting down cause it was a good few races. It idled like crap and had black all over the back bumper just like my car so I knew it was gonna be a good run! Sucked breaking my car but at least its an easy fix!

I think i asked you before Raven but what are you running for fuel setup?

Sounds like that evo must have been putting down some decent power if it was hanging in there with you.

Hmm are you considering running more than 1000cc?

Only two blue evos I know of with camtuning atickers are me and darrell, and I know it wasn't me. His car is an evo ix with a 2.3L stroker motor (actually it's the old bottom end out of Dustin's silver evo) and a ball bearing HTA3586. It's pretty quick for being on just pump gas. I believe he made 510whp on 91.

Dustin should've kept that evo. By far one of the funnest street cars I've ever driven.

Yup that's the car.... he is running the same size turbo but the .3 liter he has makes him spool faster than me... We ran probably 3 times. The first two he would get a jump and when I would start catching up he would get out of it. Then the last run we both were in full boost and I started pulling him but got out of it cause I started loosing boost from the wastegate I would love to do another run once I put her back together because that was my closest race yet since the new tune!

Well the 1000cc injector dynamics are suppose to flow close to 1500cc.... So if I go with that brand I will stay with 1000s but if I stick with precision I will move up to 1600cc.... Im wanting to due the next tune on E85 and need more injector to do it. My other option is to stick with my injectors I have now and do C16... My original goal was 600 hp at the wheels and my engine can hold it but I really don't feel like doing a rear end swap right now!

I just saw this thread. So I will chime in.

I am only running Seimons 12 ohm 675 high impedance injectors.

Fuel pump was something inline pro put in back in 04. Not sure what it is, I am guessing a Whalbro.

If I ever get around to bigger injectors I will need a resistor box. I just have not decided what to do. I am just happy everything has been holding together. There are days I feel like I own the Millenium Falcon.

bigger injectors and E85 is the new less expensive 'alternative' I pay 2.45/gallon for E85 at 1st and mountain and still manage 13-15mpg. BUT I gained about 50whp and 60tq, so it was worth it IMO since I don't drive the car much.

Yeah, I was going to chime in about injector choice, but Raven already said it: Siemens-Deka are the way to go. Use an OEM resistor box. Inline Pro has them available...
