The wife's family is up here and she wanted to be closer to them. Plus our daughter was born up here and she had a problem with her feet and she has some of the best pediatricians that are working with her. Its not so much Detroit that I live in but in Windsor, Ontario, Canada its across the river from Detroit. Here's a picture looking to Detroit from Windsor.



The Rio Grande is like a piss stream compared to the Detroit River.

I was up here 2 winters ago and the wife and I took a trip to Lake Erie and it was all frozen (and I thought Ruidoso gets cold) with this big ass boat in it. We have ponds compared to these lakes. lol
