Thumbs down MAY 16th Charity Fun Run

http://nmvipers.org/news.html

This May 16th 2010 will mark the 3rd annual Charity Fun Run, hosted by the Viper Club of New Mexico. This is by far the coolest even in town of the year.

This year it will be held at Sandia Casino. Over 100 show cars will be present in the main lobby of the area. After meeting in the morning the cars will hit the track, New Mexico's unmaintained, construction filled, potholl covered street course that is.

This even is a mixture of show and shine, meeting new people, enjoying tons of different types of cars, and a full on Poker Run. I was told minuets ago there will be tons of door prizes, cars, and fun.

PLEASE mark this event right now. You will not be disappointed. And you may even win a door prize from your community organizers company Crofton Customs Upholstery ! (a complete interior detail kit)

Im thinking as a club we should deck our cars out in logos kind of like the Gumball and Bullrun rally's. I know obody has money to throw around so maybe we can print off our logo preety big and cut them out and tape them to our doors. and also put our registration # on the cars as well. Might spice things up a bit and make us stand out even more as a club.

more info to follow in the months to come.

LIST:

Me
Matt- LoboApo28
Omar- shuluke
Jason- sharkbite
Ryan- SkRlet
Stefan- Redstu

UPDATE: 3/8/10: early registration will be availible soon. $25.00 per drive&passenger or car show entry. First 200 will get a shirt(only 1 per entry)

Day of the event is $35.00

I can attest to this. By far one of the coolest things I did last year.
EXTREMELY well organized. Awesome people. Cooler rides.
Can not beat it.

Sounds Great!!! We should REPRESENT...push this to be the largest gathering of S2k's that we've ever had?

Jerry, what's the most we've got together thus far?

This could make for great pictures!

Count us in...

I won't be able to make it. Got a soccer game.

I believe it was 19 s2000's when Jeff (hardtopguy) came in. That was by far the most s2000's at one meet.

Too bad Jerry, show up after your game if possible?

Doug, what time does it begin?

Either way, we should definitely plan a weekend in the spring to kick off the change in season!

Try to get a high commitment from everyone, so that a large meet could get owners motivated to go on many meets/drives throughout the nice weather months. I always see pictures on the forums from the many events that the topdown crew from Cali have...

Yeah those guys go out all the time. Some of the topdown guys were out at that AZ meet we went to a few years back.

Not to mention there was a chopper chasing everyone taking some sweet pics.. And for fifty bucks he'd give you a ride.
100% of proceeds go to benefit a great charity for fallen heroes.

Gangster Gangster! Yeah, If we could draw in over 19 cars that would be way sick. Im thinking about posting this for northern Texas and Southern Colorado and Eastern Arizona people!

It begins early morning, like probably around 9 and last ALL day. I think last time after all said and done i was leaving around 5.

It is going to be freaking NUTS this year you guys!
