Default One hell of a surprise

While I was sleep today, sneaky Doug and my wife, stole my car, got it out of the driveway without me knowing, installed a brand new soft top, and got it back into my driveway. Looks so good. Don't know how you guys pulled it off, but best surprise ever. Thanks Doug. I couldn't be happier!
I'll post a pic tomorrow.

I was a bit scared he would come out a blast a cap or two in my ass while pushing it down the street but he didnt!

We planned it for a few months and every day Ronnie kept asking me to get him a top, so i lied my ass off to him and finally pullled this off.

I was a bit upset because I had the top on in record time and just needed to pop rivet the sides on and my brand new gun broke. Spent 2 hours driving around trying to find another one,. Lesson learned: the most expensive pop rivet gun isnt always best, I bought a $40 one from Home Depot and it broke, a $30 one from O'Rileys and it bent!, and a $25 one from Autozone and it broke. Ended up with the $17 one from Home Depot and that thing pops rivets like a crack whore on central!

So I finsihed at 4 instead of 1 and by that time Ronnie was already up and texting me if we can install a top on his car on Tuesday! Then I rolled it up in his drive way and Kelly and him came out.

Good times had by all.

Great job Doug. Sounds like the dual action sander I bought. Just because it looks good, expensive. It can fall apart. I ended up with a Napa brand for half the cost and it still works.

Can't wait to see the pics.
