bmw cca can be jerks to drop tops!

I was signed up and the week before the event they tell me I cant take my s2000 because its open top. At the time I had a harddog roll bar, seats, harness, hans, and a hard top.

That's harsh. But if you were in a Z3/4 it'd have been OK.

I had not heard that about bmwcca but I will hope they don't mind soft top if not ill remove it all together lol.

freq did you see that at NJMP you need to have a head and neck restraint if you have harnesses in your car. I use the simpson hybrid but I bet there are going to be a lot of people who show up without one and won't be allowed to run.

I did not know that. I'm all stock for seating and restraints.

They won't allow s2ks on the track w/o a full cage with their club even if you are BMW cca member. I was a member and signed up for an event and they sent me this email:
"No convertibles without a full cage are allowed to run in BMWCCA event"

That is a bummer about BMWCCA but I guess I will have to run my evox for that event.

Check upstate. We are planning on the glen in July with scda. Two day. Mon. Tues. after July 4 weekend. Aashish usually brokers 10 percent discount, but no guaranty.

I have trouble doing weekday events but I will see what I can do for those events in July.

You were correct, they won't let me run my s2000 so I will be driving my evox for that event.
