Im putting together a S13 and I want to anodize my intercooler black, not only for the stealth look but for wear resistance. Does anyone know anyone on LI who does this? And can do it to something as big a intercooler. I already PM'd elite coatings and they said they are trying to get into it but they dont do it yet.

to be able to do anodizing, you have to have all these crazy permits.
i only know of one place in queens that does anodizing but they may be expensive as they mostly deal with the Construction industry

I found a place on a Google search and gave them a call and they sound real cool, Its called Finishing Touch Co in Deer Park. After I go there and have my inter-cooler done Ill post up my comments about their work and some pics in-case anyone else wants this or anything else done.

What are you trying to anodize? You can get DYI kits.

I'm doing the intercooler core on my 240, I don't have a tank big enough for that lol. And I want it to last. I'm not that great with the area, I'd take bayshore road to get to skidmore but it's possible that grand ave might hit it somewhere.
