Anyone go to Rutgers-Newark or NJIT?
Well... I'm a student at NJIT and for no one that is familiar with this area, NJIT and Rutgers-Newark are across the street from each other on Martin Luther King Blvd (fairly busy street). Well anyway, when I was leaving school yesterday (tuesday), and was driving down this road in between the schools and saw that someone had parked their white AP1 on that street. Well... if it's anyone on here I would highly recommend not doing that because that car will get ripped off easily. It's a really bad area and even though it's busy, if someone was breaking into it and they're good, no one would take notice. Just making whoever it is aware. You could be new to that area/school and not know.
Park in the deck if you have no other car. A lot safer.

I graduated from NJIT & got my car broken into. I was parked @ MLK near the hospital (interning in NJIT's startup incubator) & had my window smashed. They took my radio and other misc. items. Mind you that this happened probably between lunch & 5pm. This was all in front of a busy parking lot, a hospital, & it was a bright sunny day. I learned my lesson!

I have a friend that goes there and I can tell you do not bring any nice car down there, you are just asking for trouble. Eithor leave the car at home and have your parents get you or buy some POS beater that the theives are driving around in so they don't think twice about it.
