that shifter looks like a knockoff of the c's shifter.
and I spent over $300 on a c's shifter that still had to be modified. $50 for that shifter is a f'n sick deal!!!

The few things that had to be done for it to work were as follows.
1 I had to take the plastic piece off the bottom of the stock shifter lever that sits down in the transmission. It is like a ball joint so have to find something to apply equal pulling pressure for it to pop right off. I guess others said to soak it in hot water so it softens or something.
I also had to take off the 2nd plastic piece off the stock shifter right at the shift lever ball. That cracked as I pulled it off but was still perfectly fine to use.
Then I had to drill out one of the holes in the shifter surround plate it came with. Just had to widen one hole about 1/4 inch as only two of the holes would line up.
And the last thing I needed to do to make it work was just hammer the metal collar onto the bottom of the stock plastic shift lever piece for the spring to sit up against.
I'll try and upload some photos of these steps so it makes more sense for anyone interested in getting this shift knob.

I might just buy a bunch of the stock pieces that need to swapped over and buy a few of the short shift kits and just make a complete ready to drop in shift kit for simplicity if anyone would be interested. Wouldn't have to modify anything just drop it in once I modified the little things needed to be done.

I'm sure you checked, however, if I remember correctly, those three holes are not evenly spaced so you may have just had to turn it or flip it to make it fit instead of drill a new hole. you should double check before you go making/buying new parts

Yeah no matter how I had it with mine I had to widen the hole slightly as not all 3 bolts could go through. Read that another member had the same issue as well.
