Read your post on the UTH forum... First thing I'd do if I was you was check the RPM at 80mph like those guys suggested. You should be at around 5000 at 80. If you're closer to 4000 then you have stock gears in.
Definitely noticed a big difference when I put mine in. It was noticeably easier to lose traction at will and initially a little scary flooring it in the rain.

i'll try checking my rpm's but i know the gears are in cuz i got the old one's sitting in my room and i do feel that the car is alot smoother from a dead stop to when i start rolling, i just don't feel any extra pull, the car feels exactly the same when i acc just a bit smoother.

What's with all this "feeling" stuff. If you wanted to feel "pulling"... u should have bought a torque-heavy car. Hell, a stock jetta feels like it pulls harder than a s2k, but which car is faster?
Remember... gears are not adding extra hp/torque... just re-adjusting how you spend the hp/torque you already have to make you get to a certain speed faster.
How I tested whether I was really faster or not was running my friend who had a SRT-4. Before the gears we were pretty much dead even... after gears... let's just say he was looking for upgrades on the net.
