I think i85rsxtypes was expecting a turbo-ish difference in "feel". You can feel a difference with gears, but it's through the whole band so it's less pronounced than a turbo/SC.

RPM will not change with speedo, even if you put in 7.77 gears.
Road speed is all that changes.
Rear gear changes have no affect on engine RPM to transmission countershaft speed.
