Default Anyone want to make a few bucks installing a replacement soft top?

I ordered a Haartz softtop replacement because mine is just shot to hell and I really don't feel like installing it myself or paying ludscris money to have it done at a dealer. Anyone in the CT area that has done the soft top replacement before and wants to make a couple hundred bucks?

I'm pretty sure labor will be more than $200 and for Billman250, I think he considers softtop replacement as a leave your car thing, not a while you wait.

Take a solid day of work, if not more.

I'm wasnt looking to drive out of CT, anyone know around what auto upholstery places generally charge for this? I was thinking like 6-800$ which in that case I would just attempt it myself because that is too much money

Plus you need somebody who knows the car (S2000) to work on it

I'm all for doing it yourself. That's how you get familiar with the car. So go ahead and attempt to do it yourself and you will understand why they charge so much.

Ehh the more I read the more I feel that I need to drive to billman. He will probably know where to file the bars so the rubbing is not so harsh this time around and be able to successfully fit the top better than most considering his familiarity with the S2000 I don't trust bringing it to anybody and potentially having it not fit snug. I can take the ferry from Bridgeport down to long island so it won't be that bad.
