I noticed there is a thread for Nassau autocross events, and figured it would be nice to have one for the events held at the Meadowlands. It's a pretty easily accessible location whether you're from NJ or NY. They also have a few really great lots with nice pavement.

A great resource is Perry's site, http://www.autox4u.com/ . He runs the NNJR SCCA events, and helps out with most of the others.

There have been a lot of novices this year, which is great. If you have never autocrossed, don't be shy! Come out and have some fun, it's a great way to get more into driving and learning yours and your car's limits.

It's a great time all around, there is already a pretty good S2000 turn out but it would always be nice to see some more owners out there having fun.

Nice dude. I guess we ran opposite heats. Didn't get a chance to say hi. You're pretty crazy recording your runs on a full on SLR. Quality is great though

Yeah, I worked heat one and drove heat two, then didn't hang around long to see you guys run, I was beat. It was the first time I used my 5d to record autocross, but it came out pretty decent. 24p isn't ideal for all of the motion going on but I kind of like the look. I'm going to play around with the superclamp mounting to see if there are any other Nile possibilities.

Your runs look good! That's fast, and smooth. You are both a bit smoother than me, my stock suspension I feel is really starting to hold me back, though. It doesn't like having the weight being thrown around as rough as the star specs let me.

nice nice,, my friend will be there with a black 2011 Sti sedan. ill tell him to look for you, its his first time.. maybe you can co-pilot with him.
