I had one..piston failed in me right after the second year ..used it like 5 times.. oh wells.

yea def get the extended warranty. it's harbor freight. also you should get those 20% off coupons in the mail.

How easy or difficult is it to go through the process of getting it warranteed? Do you mail it to the mfg (who pays shipping) or just bring it back to the store?

Its made by Pittsburgh so its guaranteed for life. There's a sign that says all Pittsburgh items are guaranteed if broken... That's why I always their Pitt stuff instead of the Chicago stuff

lol i have a pittsburgh torque wrench and 1/2 socket set from harbor freight. so far they've held up nicely.
