by looking at the pictures it looks like the bb 8900 + bold=tour...what new feature's come in it. i would love to play with one ( nohomo)

The 8900 is 2G it runs on a GSM/Edge signal, the same the original iPhone. In order to be a GSM 3G phone it would need to support UMTS and/or HSDPA.

Because T-Mobile knows that price is paramount to their customers not features, so if they do a little creative "rounding up" who's really going to know the difference or bother to research it for that matter. Edge = 2.75G so I guess they took it upon themselves to market it to the nearest whole number, 3. Same thing as Honda calling a 2,157cc motor a 2.2l in the AP2.
