Blacktrax Oil pan METRO group buy: Closed!
Hey Metro!
My car is going to be seeing a lot more track time this year and the ones to follow so I wanted to go with a baffled oil pan. There are multiple pans on the market but I like the Blacktrax for a few reasons:
-They use a new OEM pan so fitment isn't an issue
-Aluminum baffle
-Fast turn around on orders because all done in house
-Knowing members personally who have the pan installed without issue
-Lifetime warranty
-Price

It seemed like a no brainer what pan I would go with.
After taking to some other members about plans for the offseason it came up that others were interested in the pan as well so I figured I would try and get a group buy for us.
I've spoken to Jei at BlackTrax and we have come up with the following.
How many we need:
Minimum of 5 orders. (Maximum of 10 per group buy)
Price:
Original price is $399.90 + shipping
METRO group price $355 + shipping
See pricing below for aluminum bung pricing:
The bottom most dot (A) is the location most people use for an oil temp sender. The two top dots (B & C) are common locations for either supercharger or turbocharger oil drain fittings.
Aluminum Bungs are $15 each. Labor to weld a single bung into the pan is $50, and it's another $25 to weld in each additional bung.
*If anyone wants this addition to their pan let me know what location and size for your setup and I will adjust the price accordingly*
Shipping $$:
This will be determined by how many we get ordered. They will all need to be shipped to the same address and then we can meet up and/or pass along our pans to members that are closer to us. If you want yours shipped to your home it will be @$46 per pan as per checkout on their website.
When:
This tread is to get a list going and see if we can get 5 orders (or more). Once we get to 5 I will set a time line to close the buy and then finalize a price for shipping with everyone in the buy. We would then do payment via PayPal and once they are in set a time to meet!

great pan, good deal!
had mine for 3+ years countless track days. Its an brand new OEM pan with a great baffle/anti-slosh plate, with a lifetime warranty. Stop scratching your head
