lol or that. price difference between a aftercooled and non aftercooled kit is anywhere from 500-100. it would probably cost you atleast 500 anyway. Also with the FMIC you'lll lose more boost. your 10 psi pulley will probably put down 7psi

Thats actually what I would want so I would be able to run the stock fuel injectors and get a cooler intake temps I would think.

rather than going up in steps get a non aftercooled sc. drive that around and than save up and go with a FMIC and a kpro or ems and boost to 13-15 psi

That would be nice but would need a headgasket and all too which I don't want but having 16k miles already prolly would be close to time by the time I got the whole setup for a new engine or rebuild anyways.
That would also drive the cost up through the roof haha.

Hmm thought that was the area it was needed. Not bad then. Now if only I had enough money to buy everything at once haha.

it is needed when your turbo'ed. but sc'ed cars see that extra 2 psi in the last 500-1000 rpms so its not too bad for the car. a lot of sc'ed guys are running 12-13 psi. just talk to your tuner before you do anything.

when you do the comptech sc kit....its sooo freakin simple to add parts on... for instantce... if you want the aftercooler installed... probably max 2 hour install... if you wanted to upgrade the pulley, max like an hour.... so you can do things in steps if you wanted... if you pick up a non aftercooled set.. telos hedge has an aftercooler you can put in ... u can probably buy it off of him to save yourself some money!!

^Thanks yeah already been talking to him about it an the install and all. I just gotta find a good deal on a non aftercooled one. Almost bought one before I got my gears. Was $2000 complete shipped to me but for some reason opted for the 4.77 gears instead. Good bit cheaper but nowhere near the gains. Atleast I have the gears already though so will be a good combo together!
