Very strange... The national weather service has issued a Blizzard Warning with 12"-15" of snow and 35mph wind with whiteout conditions. The weather channel has a winter advisory with 1"-3" of snow. Accuweather has a winter warning with 6"-8" of snow.

You know all the weather guys are playing a guessing games. I bet you they have a pot going for who can guess the correct inches of snow fall.

Probably. At any rate, I will be in Manhattan and have over an hour drive home or 35 minutes to Daves. I am driving either way.

I think it would be awesome if we got like two feet
Then I'd go snowboarding on Sunday in all that powder.

You know I found out today that you can legally drive a snowmobile on the streets as long as it is registered. I think that's kinda neat. Now I just need a snowmobile...

I am sure that you could stay at Dave's if you had to .. otherwise there will be room at the Mineola Inn (and free shuttle service too !!).

Yes there are some hotels in Dave's area ... but nothing walking distance.
