I currently run a Js racing 60rs and the kind of hollowish sound and inconsistent tone/drone is killing me (from drone/loud to quiet to drone/loud back to quiet at 7k). But don't get me wrong the dolphin tip and the gurgling and burbling is absolutely GREAT. (hopefully the hks will keep the burbling). I have recently come upon the HKS hi power on the interwebs and from what I am reading and hearing it is suppose to sound fuller and not drone quite as bad and the same volume as the 60rs.

So my question is can any owners out there chime in or meet up in person and give me a ride? I live in East Brunswick.

I'm not in your area but I have an HKS dual exhaust on my car and it does not burble (wish it did).

Couple it with a test pipe and most of the drone will be gone and the tone will be music to your ears.

You will have to run a test pipe to have the HKS Hi-Power not drone at cruising speed.
You will also have to run the exhaust really hot (long spirited drive) to get the HKS to burble.

I also have the hi power dual with a test pipe.. Had it on my first s2k as well, you will not be disappointed.. My car is away for the winter currently so I can't help you out.

i get nothing but compliments on how my cars sounds (especially from ray every time i see him lol) im running hks dual, berk tp, toda header, sos throttle body, and comptech sc... youll love it

Another Eb-Er here, hks sounds good when you are punching it, I had it on my 1st S, but a bit too loud for my taste. I went fujitsubo after on my old S and now on my current S.

Definitely makes me sad to hear that it does not burble/gurgle but still excited to hear it in person one day

My current setup "burble/gurgle" on slow cruising speed in low gear (under 25 mph). A bit loud but it gurgles when I let off the gas on 2nd/3rd gear. Not so much in higher gear. I have a berk header/test pipe/HKS resonator/Cherry Bomb canister. It didn't start out that way when I first bought the Cherry Bomb but once I broke it in, it started gurgling. lol
