Default clutch problem

Ok so i wake up this afternoon since i work overnights to find out my car wont go into gear and the clutch has no play. I wenttocheck the fluid and it was empty which i would suspect a leak somwhere. WHat am i looking at in parts and labor for this problem? can iadd fluid now and drive it to the shop or get it towed because i dont want to do more harm than what is already done. Would like answers soon for my car is my daily driver at the moment.

This happened with my brakes on my camry. First fill it up and see if it goes into gear. If it does and you can drive it, you can drive to the repair shop, the clutch master cyclinder maybe no good. Am not sure what there going for. How many miles do you have on the car.

well i looked up and read that if there was no clutch fluid then i should see the leak under the clutch pedal but there is nothing damp so im puzzled where it went. I will fill it up in a bit and check it it works, my car has about 70k miles

Check the slave cylinder to see if it's wet.

You are going to have to bleed the clutch to get the air our of it if you are gonna refill it.

i just put some oem dot 3 brake fluid, pumped the clutch and the clutch got back to normal. It was better than before in the shifting but the fluid was low so im guesing still a leak? i let the car sit for a while and going to see if it is leaking and from where. Will try to have an answer soon.
