CPO Disaster
Well, I picked up the S2K today. When I test drove, I noticed a slight pull to the right under acceleration. They said they'd do the allignment, and check tire pressure. I recieved a call, and was told that they did everything, and any remaining slight pull would be because of the "high torque" of the car... THAT should have been a red flag right there.
I pick the car up, and when I get to around 65-70, the car starts pulling REALLY hard when I use the gas, to the point where it's trying to veer into the next lane. Needless to say, I'm bringing the car back on Weds, and giving them one last shot to get this right.
I'm pretty steamed. This car is a "CPO". They're supposed to check for this kinda crap before I waste my time with it. I'm seriously considering putting a stop payment on the check, and just bringing the car back to them. If someone managed to trash a Dif/CV joint in ~4,000 miles, how long will it be before other parts start breaking? For example, the clutch, which is not warrantied.
What do you think I should do? Bring the car back right away, or give them a chance to fix it?

Check the tire pressure yourself. Low rear tire pressure causes this all the time. I had a leak in one of my rear tires and it was a night/day difference once reinflated.

This car in general tends to tram line pretty bad FWIW. I fthe roads you're driving on a "crowned" in any way this will only exaggerate this effect.

I'll set everything to the correct pressure tomorrow morning when it's good and cool. If that doesn't work, I'll have the allignment checked at a local shop I trust, and if I still have issues, it's back to the honda dealer to give them a crack at it.
I've been sure to check for the pull on flat (as flat as it gets around here) roads, and it's definitely still there.

Set everything to 32. Checked wear. All tires are brand new. Made a difference, but it still pulls, especially at highway speeds. Going 75ish, when I hit the gas, it actually feels like both wheels change directions, and then snap back into place when I let off the gas. Going on monday to a trusted local shop to get allignment checked.
Thanks for the help all.

Well, I think I found the problem. Right tire has about 2mm more wear than the left. Still going to get the allignment checked, but I think this calls for a wheel/tire upgrade!
