I just thought of something, if you went past 90 degrees, it would be a good idea to punch the gas cuz then itll make you spin and do a donut till you are the right way. W/e. Sux that you had to go through this and good luck on everything.
I wouldn't do any Jeremy Clarkson moves on public roads.

Sorry to hear that man. One thing I've learned is BREAK STRAIGHT and have your foot a little on the throttle going into the turn.

The Queensboro bridge is one of my favorites, particularly due to the bends on the Queens end.

That sucks man!
At least damage isn't too much.
I heard there's something like free repair through insurance without prime rate change if accident was caused by hydroplane in wet condition. I might be wrong, but a cop told me this before.

Also, when the car is new, the tires are new and may not have been 'broken' in, takes a few hundred miles.
Be careful and enjoy your S

Sorry to hear what happened... hopefully it isn't too too bad but you're ok and there was no one else involved, so it's just a fix on your end. Good thing we have VSA though, just make sure you always turn it back on cause it's saved my a$$ a few times already too when I was learning RWD. Now, after a few Auto-X's and some fun driving in the twisties while safe, I've gotten used to the car.

But for me, as long as I'm in public, the VSA never comes off.

dump the clutch... Rear wheels will gain traction as they freewheel and be smooth recovering.

Best thing is it happened when you were going slow and you didnt get hurt

Wouldn't that be the same as letting off the gas, which is bad cause weight gets shifted off the back tires and even more traction is lost? I've always been told to just stomp on the gas so the weight stays on top of the rear tires.

I used to think the same way until I actually did both... and stomping the gas works... lol.
