You have to remember. With Electric motors, you attain MAX Horsepower and Torque at 1 RPM... yes, 1 RPM. so the power is instant, and stays steady to redline.
And, since electric motors typically redline at tens-of-thousands RPM, you almost don't need a tranny.
Kinda like a snowmobile.

There are kits out there that run from $2500-5000. Most kits don't include the batteries which are another $2k-ish.
Not exactly cheap, or easy to do.
Which is why I dropped it.
