Are the nuts or studs that hold down oem header prone to snapping or breaking

only a few headers actually add power to the s2k. honda did an excellent job in designing this car. j's, toda and hytech are known to gain power. maybe even mugen, but not by much. the best way to get n/a power out of this car is with quality bolt ons and a tune (aem ems, flashpro, e-manage)

if you just want a header, exhaust and test pipe and dont care about power gains and a tune, then to answer your questions, then make sure your test pipe and exhaust are the same diameter. the brand of the test pipe really doesnt matter, since it is just a hollow pipe anyway. megan and t1r are popular decent choices. to avoid a cel, pick up a 2 pack of spark plug anti-foulers at any autoparts store and drill them out with a 1/2" drill bit. then screw them together, screw in your o2 sensor and you're good to go.

no, but the nuts/studs on the cat to exhaust side are. make sure to soak them in some pb blaster before you try to take them off.

If you want to run a TP then you need to go to AutoZone and pick up a package of 2 18mm Spark Plug Non Fouler. You will then need to drill 1 of them out in the middle with a 1/2in Drill Bit. Then install the non drilled one into the test pipe, then drilled on on top of that one and then screw in your O2 to the drilled one (on top)...then you should be g2g!!

Should look like this:

Also here is my 2003 S w/ Invidia Ti N1 Exhaust w/ TP...NO CEL!!
