[QUOTE=shamoo,Jun 9 2009, 06:23 PM] It's legal as long as it's mounted on the front part of the car (not on the dash, etc).

yea i got one at a car show in yonkers. Was standing about 30 ft from my car with a group of friends, cop yells out, WHOS CAR IS THIS (pointing to mine) and no body said anything because theres not much they can do while your car is in a parking spot and theres no on in it.
Even if you were there, all he can do is give you a ticket. Unless you give him a hard time. Not having a front plate is not a crime.

Here are a couple of pics. I should add that the black plastic grille insert should be secure because the wind buffeting the plate at high speeds can push it back. I say this because it happened to me and I know two other S owners with loose grille inserts (the method of mounting the plate is still good, though).

I ordered OEM plugs from Honda, I just have to put them on.

I have this license plate holder from Rick's Accessories.

Rick's Plateholder

It is shaped sort of like an upside down U. It sits on the front bumper with the plate below and tilted back. I am very satisfied with the way it looks.

If you have an electric drill and access to a metal break to make the front bend, you can probably make something very similar with a piece of angled aluminum from a hardware store or Tractor Supply. If you can't find the angled aluminium, try SpeedyMetals.com. Probably cost all of about $6.00.

fyi there's no law that says you have to have attached to your front bumper as long as its visible from the front of the vehicle.

If you go to court you will get out of it
