Just got good news from a cop i know. their woking on it so hopefully itll be dropped. thank god. my luck is horrible. also today i almost got crushed by a car in the shop!

Bad news is regardless of who you know, once you are issued a ticket (and it's in the system) you can't just delete it. You'll be paying some sort of fine.

right but there must be a legal reason why it's dropped, a cop friend cannot just drop it even if they admit to error (ask my mother how she knows this). At the min, you will pay court fee if there is a valid legal reason for dropping it.
I got a parking ticket for parking in the resident permit lot of my towns LIRR station, the vehicle had a sticker, meter maid/cop didn't see it.
I went to Nassau Traffic court with a picture of the sticker on car & they dismissed it. The judge also waived the $15 court fee.

If you can get the cop to pull the ticket before it goes into the system, then you'll be ok. I had a moving violation ticket and called my boy who's a cop and he called the cop who gave me the ticket directly and asked him to pull the ticket and trash it. Pays to know some good cops!
