Default Gumball 3000

If you work in midtown head over to Times Square and check out the cars for Gumball 3000. I walked through around 8:15 or so this morning Friday 05/25/12. I'm not sure how long they will be there because there was nobody around to ask.

Just heard them leave. I jumped on my desk to look out the window and my coworker said "WTF?!"

I didn't hear them up here at 66th Street. I if they headed up the West Side and I missed them.

Of course, the day I call out of work is when this happens. Our office is right in Times Square across the street from ABC Channel 7 news so would have been perfect... Oh well.

I'm surprised that they called for this much attention considering their going to be speeding across the States... lol.

Tons of foreigners, out of state licenses, and rich people participate in this run. From my other forum 2 of our members or doing the run. (1 of them is Team Salamone in the orange Aventador).

If you own 1 of these cars you don't care about the $300-$500 for a ticket. especially since points don't transfer to NY licenses. & it costs $30k to even participate in the event.

I don't think all of them acted like a-holes rolling out. I only heard about 3 or 4 very loud cars from the 13th floor. Then again .. it did echo to a block away. Must be nice to be rich and have a total disregard for laws. I hope they get hit with every fine imaginable. Thanks for helping out the local economy!
