Thumbs up Guys running AEM 1052

Just picked up another turbo kit since miss boost and the kit came with a AEM 1052. As far as I know in CT I wont be able to pass emissions with it because it makes the obd2 port not function or reads it as another car. Am I wrong? Will I have to pull my injectors and EMS everytime I want to pass?

Thanks

Would have to pull it or find a place to pass you.

I'm guessing not pull everything but just the injectors and EMS. Should hide the boost with a 3bar map right?

To be honest, I just don't worry about it.

Unless you DD it, chances of getting stopped are minimal.

Im pretty sure they pull your registration after a little bit if you skip emissions.

yea you gotta find a shop to pay off to get a sticker or swap your ecu and injectors over and baby it over to the shop.

the dmv does check that a proper inspection was done (ie. the reg was scanned before the inspection, then the car has to pass once it is plugged into the diagnostic machine)
so when you go to renew the reg after two years, they won't let you unless they have record of the inspection. soooo unless the shop is passing you by plugging the wire into another vehicles obd port, but scanning your reg, then idk how thats gunna work.
