Post Hello from a Socal S2Ker

Hi,

I recently graduated from UCSD and have spent the last 1.5 months in seclusion studying for my DAT exam to get into dental school. I'm in limbo right now and on a whim, I decided to buy the 1 month $500 unlimited flights pass offered by JetBlue. I don't really have a travel buddy because it was a little sporadic and a lot unplanned. I figured I'd just go by myself and do some soul searching.

New York is one of the cities, among many others, I plan on traveling to. Is there anyone on the forums that wouldn't mind showing me around or just hanging out and having some fun?

I'm 22 years old, pretty personable, and I'm not a psycho killer. Facebook me if you're interested. The picture in my signature is me at 20. This is NOT a dating outreach post (I have a boyfriend). I'm just looking to have a good time, travel a new city every day for the next month, and meet some diverse people along the way.

My journey begins 9/7-10/6 and again, I don't have a plan. Accommodation is very flexible considering I can come and go whenever.

I will be New York the weekend of the Sept 17th. And again, can come back whenever.

Thanks,
Macy

craigslist?

wow that's a great deal! is it stand-by or do you get confirmed flights?

If it's your first time in the city and you want to the touristy stuff (why wouldnt you lol), I know you have to get the Statue of Liberty tickets in advance so look into it.

Eat lots of pizza!

and have you applied to NYU for dental school? My two cousins just took the DATs and have been applying to various schools as well.

If you need a bar guide let me know...Ill round up the Metro Drinking Crew and we can do a bar crawl in the city...aside from that there really is so much to see that you need to spend more than a weekend...if you need a couch/room let me know as I have ample space

R.
