I thoufht it was the imobilizer..but the manual says the green key indicator will stay on and blink if it was the imobilizer. Mines appears at on positoon, but than goes away.
Also i p.med jose awhile ago, and was never able to get in touch with him.. ill try again.

When the battery is dead and you try to start the car usually the cluster/etc will all go off while you push the start button and sometimes even get a clicking noise.

If you have booster cables try getting a boost from another car and see if that helps, if not then it's probably the alarm

It's a holiday and might be tough to get a hold off Jose. Maybe the alarm needs some sort of reset and having such little power is making it act funny. All I remember in my case is I just gave up on the old battery and got a fresh one. It might have enough juice to power a few things on but not enough to do much after and the alarm might be reading that as some mal function.. I don't know just try a new battery lol

Thanks.. yea i wanted to go today, but all the places are closed due to the holiday.

Update..definately not the battery..just put a new one in.. its definately the alarm preventing the car from turning on..i can hear a slight click comimg from the steering column. Any 1 know if i can just unplug the brain?
P.s is the brain typically under the steerimg cloumn?

Immobilizer only limits the cars ability to run. It will still crank.
