No, they pull over to ask their cousin who owns the gas station for directions anyway.
i guess it makes sense if those are selling the least, but its still a shame that theyre not even gonna offer it. sucks for the ppl who would actually want that combo and can't even wait for it

It's been a while since i've seen them eliminate anything... first it was the CRV redesign in 07... they dropped the 5MT option for it.
We just got notice that the following cars are no longer available with a 5-speed:
FIT SPORT WITH VSA/NAVI
CIVIC 2DR: EX NAVI/ EXL / EXL NAVI/ SI WITH NAVI AND SUMMER TIRES
CIVIC 4DR: EX NAVI/ EXL / EXL NAVI/ SI WITH NAVI AND SUMMER TIRES
ACCORD 2DR: EXL AND EXL NAVI
ACCORD 4DR: LXP AND EXL, EXL NAVI
ELEMENT: 2WD SC, 2WD SC WITH NAVI, 4WD EX
They also killed off silver as a 2dr SI color, and deleted multiple colors off basic 5spd Accord choices.
Pretty interesting. Official wording is " TRIM AND ALL COLORS ELIMINATED"

Most people would rather have an automatic, since most people are not car enthusiasts. People live in cities and commute through traffic. There are more cars on the road these days, so there is more traffic to wade through making a MT less fun. I could go on.
Also, lets not forget that most of those models, well, suck. I'll go from the list:
Fit Sport. Seems quite like an oxymoron, doesnt it? Whats the point.
Civic 2DR/4DR. The everybody car. Since we've established that most people don't give a toot about cars, this is self explanitory right?
Accord 2DR/4DR. Same as above.
Element. Wait, I suddenly feel sick. BRB.
The only current Hondas worth getting a MT in is the Civic Si and the S2000, which they killed off. So, like, yeah. I'd be happy you guys still own the last example of a sporty Honda.

Well, to be honest, I don't see it as that great of a loss. I mean, I wayy prefer a nice crisp manual transmission over a slushbox, but several factors influence this decision.

pathetic, another reason why i hate to love honda so much. brilliant as the s2000 is they refuse to cater to the following that the red badge has gathered over the years, however nissan and even hyundai are developing fun cars... 370...genesis? who would have thought.
