I need help... My ex-roommate Rick found out that he has stomach cancer today... which is really upsetting... and well, he was going to housesit for me while I went away on a work-critical business trip. Understandably, now he can't. I need to be out of town from May 10 - May 18 and am in need of a housesitter to take care of my two cats. For most people this would be an easy solution, find someone to stop by every other day or take them to a kennel. Unfortunately, Murphy, my black cat, gets very upset when left alone... The last time I was gone for two days, he pissed all over a ton of my clothes. I can not take them to a kennel because Murphy does not travel well and the last time I tried to put him in a cat carrier, he bit through the tendons on my friend Andy's hand. Don't get me wrong, they are very loveable and cuddly cats they just don't like being left alone or put in a cat carrier.

So, would anyone be willing to live out in the sticks for a week?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

No suggestions please and please don't up the thread... only post if you can...

Hey Lorie!

Hope you found someone. I know how kitties can be. My Siamese mix hates to be home alone & won't eat if he's by himself. When we go away, we have a pet-sitter come & stay each night with him & stop by for an hour in the day.
