Default Houston we have a problem...

Soooo I bought my car in June and theres always little things that I forget to check when looking at a car. This was one of them... I started buying some mods for the car and really havent had the chance to even install them until last week. I had my springs and my X-brace all ready to install and then I go into the trunk to get the lug key and no bueno... I started screaming some choice words and figured it would just have to wait until i got them off...

ok heres my dilema...

Im planning on doing the suspension today... my friend will let me borrow 4 lugs... I called every Honda dealership in the area and they all want to charge me $56 for new locks and then labor to put them on since I didnt buy the car from them... i was like **** that... is there a way I cold possibly take the lugs off with channel locks? im not trying to destroy them but I would like to do it today... I tried several keys from friends/co-workers and they didnt work... the dealership i bought my car from said they would replace the key but I would have to drive up there and its 1 hour+ each way... didnt really want to do that... any suggestions?
anyone in the area want to try your key?

any help is appreciated... thanks

sorry for the rant and awful grammer, just had to blow a lil steam

i had that same problem with and old car of mine. I welded a crappy socket to the locknut. you might just have to take the locks off with channel locks if you want to buy new ones just go to pep boys or something like it and the locks will be cheaper. just be sure to get the right thread size and shape. i'm not sure what shape the "s" uses but i think there a few different kinds like conical and flat. hope that helps good luck.

yeah i dont have a welder and i didnt want to destroy them as well...i might just try the channel locks... plus i could send a wheel lock to the dealership so they cna match it up and get a new key that way.
thanks though...
