That scenario is almost how this played out at the onset of the thread. Things changed quick though.

It's easy for me to say this from my office but I would've gone through the trouble to sue him knowing it's a slam dunk and I'd get damages and attorney's fees paid. I hope this is well on the way to satisfactory resolution for you.
