Default Installing Leather console surround

So I got the 2002+ leather console surround and center console.

I attempted at installing it, removed the radio door, removed the center console, but I can't figure out how to remove the carpet. I was trying to remove the stereo surround but it seems that some pieces on the sides are part of the dash.

Has anyone attempted in doing this? I searched the forum without any results that would help me install it. I know people rewrap the carpeted area all the time, but I can't seem to find instructions.

I haven't picked up the service manual yet, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Yea whatever it is I know it's not leather, but I don't want to scratch it, there has to be a way to install it properly.

Well I installed it today, actually a lot easier than I thought, took me like an hour or so to remove most of the interior and put it back in.

Thanks to everyone who offered to help.

next project is the stereo.........OEM just doesn't cut it, especially with the top down
