Default Looking for help removing headunit

Anyone here have experience removing the headunit in the Northern NJ/NYC area that's willing to help a fellow Metro member out? Just need to reconnect a wire to get my CD player working again and the local Honda dealership (DCH Honda of Paramus) wants to hold my car for the entire day to do this which I find a bit unreasonable. Id be willing to pay for the help.

If this is something you would be interested in, let me know. Thanks

That is unreasonable! Honestly I would highly encourage you to do it yourself. If you have a plastic pry tool that would be awesome....smaller paint scraper would work but a flat head screwdriver would also work just fine too just need to be a little more careful.

Look for a walk through tutorial such as this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfrx1RsNiXs

He is a little more aggressive than I would be but I would stop after the bottom unclips then use something to "help" the top vent area. It's just that easy. After that if you have ever used a screwdriver before you are good to go.

Is this the factory HU we're talking about? How did you figure out what's wrong with it?
