i say we should be open minded and give everyone a chance... afterall, we are just rejecting ppl who are only trying to help us....
Esp. When you consider all of the bandwidth we waste on BS in this forum.

I agree. My main concern is, why was the thread deleted? If it were for the simple rule that he wasn't a member, then a CO should LOCK the thread and advise the OP that it will be unlocked once he has paid up. Otherwise.......

Before they became a MEMBER they were a GUEST advertising for FREE.
There are hard and fast rules about that sort of thing. Do you know how many people say that they are going to become members or Sponsors just to try and keep their posts posted w/o paying a $$? LOTS.

No thread should be deleted unless it contains very inappropriate material for anyone to see, including those who view the club dumpster.
If a thread or post varies from the rules a little, it should be locked and a pm sent to the OP. Even then, discretion should be used not to over moderate.
If a thread or post is WAY off base, it should be moved to the CO dumpster.
I feel the distaste as well....I have been attacked by an admin, and I've had a post deleted for trying to sell two sets of keyhole caps.

I agree with freq. if I stole a set of seats and posted them here with no paid membership, it would BENEFIT me to have it locked imediately. This way no one could grill me publicly on where I got them, but someone who didn't care could pm me and buy them.
