This is really only a feeler at this point. I go just about every Thursday after work and usually one Sunday a month. The range is open till 10pm 7days a week so anytime your down let me know. I'm always in the mood to throw a few hundred rounds of 5.56 down range.
<--- looking up info on licensing right now.

Honestly if your even considering getting a pistol license it I'd jump on it as fast as humanly possible. With a democrat governor in NY and a soon to be democrat president I'd get grandfathered in now. If you need any help with your paper work let me know. You'll also need 4 or 5 character references too, let me know if you need help with that too.

in NJ, it's different from town to town but somewhere like Fort Lee, you'll have to fill out the form, including 2 references (family or friend). And then you have to go to local pricint to get an interview. they had specific time you can show up. you also pick the form from local pricint.

And if you jump through all the hoops in the right order they may mail you a small red post card to come pick up your permit if not better luck next year. Total Cost $350.00 in Nassau County
