tech day was fun today, but billman did find cracked retainers on my car. i guess the previous owner overrevved. i have put 10 months and 9000 miles on it and have never overrevved. i will be seeing bill in a few weeks to get this fixed. im going to post pics of the cracked retainers and post updates. im glad i caught this early enough....or im glad bill caught this early enough. the cracks arent that bad and bill said i could probably drive another 15-20k miles. thanks for your help bill and ill be seeing you in a few wks. i pmed you to set up a day and time.

back in the day but at least he found them before the engine swallowed

dont ask me how i know what failed retainers will do,,,,

when i had my DC2 and expensive JUN III buildup, a titaniun retainer failed at 4k miles..kaboom

well now that i found out its a 4 hr drive with traffic, ill be leaving at 2pm to be there by 6pm. thanks for the heads up dave. bill needs to move to nj
