I drove my RED to work on last tuesday morning. through the drive, the immobilizer light (green key light) was blinking but i didn't think much of it. however, when I try to start as I finished working, it won't start. it cranks but it's almost as if fuel is not there to burn...

does anyone have AP1 ecu with immobilizer key? I need to borrow so I can bring this home at least.. please let me know if you have one available.

didn't you pull the plugs and it was ok?

i have my ecu somewhere and a spare key, but you need the corresponding ignition as well, don't you?

spark plug was not the problem back then. i cleared the code with obd2 scanner and it was OK in pocono. also i don't recall green key light blinking.
I cannot get good connection with my pc obd2 scanner... i'll try to get that working first.

does ignition also need to be matched? i thought only things that need to be matched are ecu & the key.
