Funny story- When I was shopping for my last s2000 back in 2008, I couldn't really find an AP1 nearby with low enough miles, other than a spa yellow with 23k on it. My dad and I were each going to put up half for the car, being that I did not have enough saved up as a college kid. When I first bought up the idea of buying a yellow car, the immediate answer was "NO!" A week later after a little convincing and getting him over the cop magnet color, he made fun of me for wanting a yellow car saying things like "You're gonna look like you're on the way to the circus every where you go." And "Idk why someone would want a car the color of poop."
The minute we pulled into the dealership he shut his mouth; it was the only car sitting outside as shiny as could be in a landscape of cement, brick, and metal buildings. Thats the last time I heard anything about the color... and I left a deposit the same day. This means a lot if you know how much of a cynic my dad is.
Spa yellow is truly an amazing color. Spa > Rio but theyre both hot nonetheless.
Moral of the story- Amateur pictures do not do spa yellow justice!
