replica spoon hardtop
hey everyone i might be picking up a replica spoon hardtop in the next few days. it may not come with the hardware kit so i was wondering if anyone knows where i can buy one and roughly how much it is. Also anyone with one can you chime in and let me know what you think about the top and how is it getting to the trunk? thanks for the help

I agree.. so ugly IMO too. Also you might want to edit your tite a little to be more direct. If your going replica, OEM or mugen replicas are much nicer looking and way easier to install. Not to mention take on and off. I was able to take off my OEM by myself. All you need is a little upper body strength and balance

Many new owners jump right at the spoon top for some reason. IMO if you're not widebody and have some really aggressive mods that hardtop looks terrible.
If you like it go for it but think it will look much better with oem or mugen style top.

You could also ask this question in the JDM tuning section. I haven't noticed anyone in metro with a spoon replica/authentic top but I seen pics on the net, the authentic mooncraft top which is installed on the spoon s2000 allows access to the trunk. I also agree the top requires some aggressive parts to make it flow: Wide body, Huge wing, and some deep dish wheels for starters
