Reverse Hood Interest?

Reverse Hood Interest?
Hey everyone I don't know how I came to the idea but I have tossed it out casually to a very few people on S2KI and their immediate reaction wasn't "OMG HORRIBLE RICE" so I'm going to try to actually further develop this idea potentially (based on interest)
Basically, I want to gauge what peoples opinion is on fabricating and using reverse hood latches on the S2000.. I've searched and I cant find this topic ever discussed or anyone that produces this on anything so if its been done/spoken about I'm sorry stop reading here and shoot me a link/flame
However, if its not been discussed I personally have been thinking the S2000 would look very good with this reverse hood (especially if its been Swiss cheesed by ray )
I know a guy who is very very talented with welding and custom fabrications and constantly is working on restoration/custom jobs on everything from classics, hot rods to the 9 second mustang. I stopped into his private garage space tonight (where he works almost every night and some days after his daily job) and asked if this could be done, he said most certainly and tomorrow hes going to look at my car in person to determine the difficulty/time necessary/design idea/cost of such a project..
Now if its possible to do and it had been cleanly done, would anyone here be interested in having it fabricated/installed by the gentlemen I know?
Just gauging interest, feel free to leave comments (if you think its ricey say so )

NAWSSSS?
On topic though there are a few cars you can easily find in a junkyard to check out when doing the design to get pros and cons of each setup.
2nd gen prelude, vette, jaguar, and of course Datsun Z's (I have a pair laying around)

Pros: Very unique! Very cool to show off on car shows. You would be the first on S2KI.
Cons: It would be costly to pull this off only because everything will be customized. It'll be harder to work on the car.

The guys labor rate isnt that bad at all, and price of materials is relatively low.. You can always take the hood off to work on the car..
And I knew I'd get the ricer comments ...
