this is a ridiculous idea. i never went to college and don't regret it at all. im only 20 and pay all my own bills, i only come home to sleep. being/feeling mature is a good thing.
....and i plan on going back....I'm just livin' it up for the meantime, or until i pay off my car....whichever comes first

I went to both. Hands down if u wanna meet people and party go to new brunswick. If u wanna study go to Newark. If u wanna park on the street I suggest going to nb. I transferred to Newark after my freshman year cos I coulndt handle partying and school 2gether.

I think you are just realizing how the real world is. Life isnt a party unless you make it one. Me personally i graduated college and got a real job and sure its not as carefree as high school or college and you have a lot more responsibility now but there is other things to look at. I want to buy a house soon so me going out less saves money and will allow me to buy a house sooner.
Unless you want to be one of those people who parties until they are 50 then go ahead but you have to grow up sometime. Why not just go out a few times a month to good bars or clubs rather then go pay for college just to party.

But... if you're serious about your studies, then work a budget for yourself to see if you can afford to go school, and if you can, then go ahead. But going to college just to think about partying... that's You also have to remember that now isn't really a time to also put this kind of expense/debt on you. Maybe you should wait for the market to settle down a little bit also since you'd be paying for school by yourself.
