S2000's at NY Safety Track - 8/24/15 - Offical Video on post 1

The trees are not really in areas that people spin or go off track. Also realize overall this track is a much slower track than most I've been on in terms of speed overall. We had some off roaders that went off to make sure the grass was nice and mowed for us and no one had a tree "wrapping" incident.

Hell no this track was safe as hell, plenty runn off, multiple spin outs and nothing happened(i will post videos of chris spinning later haha). You must have never been at watking glenn..... theres no grass runoff there, just a wall lol

For the common spin there is enough room and that's usually all that happens. However I've been to/on enough tracks that I would not go so far as saying track is "safe as hell". Anything more than common spin and you could be in real trouble there, not to mention all the corner workers, other than the one on the front straight, were on their cell phones for every lap except the checker. I'm grateful for the event and would absolutely do it again in a heartbeat but that's the reality of it.

I couldn't agree more. This track is certainly not as safe as say NJMP but there is no such thing as a 100% safe track. It is a risk we all take when putting on our helmets to go out on track. I was beyond pissed about the corner workers yesterday and they had an ear full from me. It was completely unacceptable as they are your life line while on track.
