hey,

i just bought an s2000 from arizona and need to register it in nj. i just noticed the windows are tinted (didn't notice under the arizona sun). anyone know of any inspection places near newark/jersey city that are "friendly" to tinted windows? would suck to have to rip it off...

you would have to go private and pay
all the state places i doubt would let that pass without scratching it up to check
you can always try rolling down windows and top down into an inspection place so they may not check or notice

I don't have illegal tint, nor do this on purpose, but my last 3 inspections here in MA have been top and windows down, I've never been asked to check the windows either.

my last inspection in nj was top up and windows up. this was public inspection. try a private shop and talk to them first.

If I ever got my car inspected, I would go top down and pull the fuse and say some BS that the windows don't go up with the top down
