Hey Metro,
My pops is visiting NY and being from Taiwan, he wants to go see a Yankees game and watch Chien-Ming Wang pitch in person. I could probably score some bad seats buying it from the stadium but I thought I'd treat him to some good seats.
Watching Yankees games on TV, there's a lot of air-time given to stubhub.com during commercial breaks. Anyone used the site before? Is it reliable? Any recommendations? Thanks.

i used stub hub for the mets vs cards game 1 of the nlcs last yr. we picked the tickets up at a bar a few blocks away from shea. this was because we purchased them a few hrs before the game. normally they will mail them to you if there is time. i definitly recommend stubhub. we actually paid below face value, even after the fees.

I personally didn't buy the tickets from stubhub but my girlfriend did go through stubhub about a year ago and bought me two tickets for Mets against the Dodgers when I was living out there. I had to go pick up the tickets in downtown LA. The price was okay and picking up the tickets was painless.

So it sounds pretty legit. I guess it's also good to wait until a day or two before the game and maybe get a better price?
Thanks guys
Thanks guys
but then again, you have to see if the pitching rotation changes so you wont miss Wang.

Just bought my tickets. We'll see how it works. Thanks to everyone who chimed in on this.
Oh yeah, damn the Yankees for their high payroll and high ticket prices
