Windshield Cracked
#11
FYI: PPG & Honda or OEM glass are the same thing. PPG makes it for them
Also please know that PPG has changed there name to " Pittsburgh Glass Works "
So your windshield may or may NOT say PPG it may say PGW. I'm not sure exactly when that is taking place.
As far as fixing your crack if it is in fact the size of a quarter you might not be able
to fix it. That is about the maximum size crack you can fix. If you go to a shop and its
the size of a dollar bill and they say they can fix it.... run away..... run far away.
One final note: If you do get a replacement windshield do your self a favor and make
sure the shop is an " AGRSS " member http://www.agrss.com/
With the windshield accounting for about 70% of your vehicle structural integrity its pretty scary how some of these " Lick'em and Stick'em "
guys are putting them in. In this circumstance you get what you pay for.

Thanks a bunch Mike, I'll definitely look into those things, it's like a small circle that you can feel, but underneath it is all star'd out. It didn't appear to get any larger.

Huh, my insurance will replace a cracked/broken window for free.
I have full glass coverage with GEICO...I cracked my windshield and they send the safelite dude to your house. No muss, no fuss.
